Trimming the spring on lar-308 magazine

The lar308 mags I have hold a super tight 10 rounds, has anyone clipped the spring to get them a 10.5 rounds in there ??? Would like to insert mag on closed bolt.

You need to trim the legs, on the bottom of the follower.

Do this,^^^^ don't mess with the spring.

In the XCR-M pistol mags, the spring actually bottoms out before the follower. In this case you'd have to trim the spring. Make sure you don't cut off the "looped end."
