Went to the range with the 300 Win mag Enfield. Here is the result:

Not bad for a 90 year old barrel ok.
 
I hate to hurt your feelings,but I think you need to do some load development.That's a Enfeild rifled barrel.When I do a four group ,twenty shots, same target, with my battle sighted P-14,most of the shots group in that size. O.K.,I need practice.With the scope sighted P-17 308Norma,I know some thing is wrong when the groups get larger than 3/4".
 
Yes, this is just the start but I am pleased that I am getting what I got.

Also, that ammo is stuff I loaded for another 300 that I had a few years ago. So that is with zero load development!:D

The last time I had my BSA/P-14 out on the range it did nearly that well- about 1.25", with 43.5gr. of RL 15 behind Remington 180 gn RN. Not bad for an old girl, indeed. I'm looking forward to trying some of Steve Redgwell's 200 gn. next.
