Just bought a small collection, included were two cans/jugs of Hogdon Triple Seven powder. Cand anyone give me some Info on it?

I use it for 7.62x39 hunting rounds (Hornady 123gr SST) with my Ruger American Ranch. Accurate at 100 yards. Meters well. I would definitely buy it again.

Really? Any chance you put them over a chronograph? I would never bother but it is interesting.

PYRODEX turns to rust before your eyes. NEVER. Triple 7 is strong plus 15 percent over black powder and will need proper cleaning when you get home.

Go Hodgen reloading site, read the part that says to use TWO F or THREE F follow there guidance.

I have a couple cannons that I have used exclusively with Pyrodex. They sit outside in a shed, no rust. I'd have to disagree there. I won't argue that it can't, but this may be an issue of particular conditions.

Not sure what you want that is not already on the maker's website? I could about only get 777 when I owned a 50 cal muzzle loader - I used the 50 grain pellets and also had at least one jug of loose 777 powder, but I forget which granulation - whatever the Thompson Center handbook called for. I only ever used 209 primers for shotgun, not the muzzleloader versions, and do not recall an iota of issue with 777. But I never used actual Black Powder, and Pyrodex did not seem to be available where I was - so I thought 777 was all "normal".
