Tripod Arrived!

Well, the tripod I bought on the EE in June-ish finally showed up....entirely my fault on the delayed shipping because it takes a "while" when you involve family and friends so as to save on shipping.

I could have had it shipped at the cost of MUCHO bu###xx, but instead, my Bro picked it up, took it to TO, then on to OTT, and finally a few friends picked it up and brought it with them on return to YHZ.

Life is grand....how many of YOU have a Bren on a tripod in the corner of your home office?????

Alas, since the Bren is just a Dewat from Wolverine, it doesn't need to be returned to secure storage every night....it gets to stay there....day after day after day.....

I had an old Enfield sling that I added to the tripod this evening (found whilst cleaning my gun-room)

I know the tripod legs shouldn't be at those angles, but hey, it's the space I gots! Besides, I'll only accept a chewing out from someone else who has a Tripod mounted support weapon in their office!

Chewing out/great idea: change the office into a bedroom for the kids, then you can take over the bedrooms for an office. That way you can properly extend the legs out, and even sandbag the firing position, litter the floor with 303 brass, and have the magazine chests all set up as well.

I just received parts for my tripod a pivot assembly but missing the bolt that secures it to the pivot to the tripod.
