I shot a round of trap with a Tristar unsingle on Sunday. 22/25 if that means anything. Seemed to be well balanced and fairly light. I normally shoot a 3200 which is a pretty heavy gun. It seemed to have a little more felt recoil than I'm used to but that could have been the recoil pad or just me. No more than an 870. This particular gun was shooting to the left pretty bad but the owner was playing around with adjustments so it might not have been the gun's fault. Personally, for the price he paid for it, I would buy a used Browning or Beretta, but that's just me. I would call it a good entry level gun but we'll see after a few thousand rounds go through it. I have no idea about parts availability. Do a search on Trapshooters.com and you will find lots of differing opinions.
