Hey all..

I am considering a Tristar Hunter O/U and was wondering what people who owned them think about them.

I checked out google and YouTube and it seems everyone says the same thing. Do these people copy each other?

My question is.. do these shotguns have an auto ejector that flings the hulls into the air, or are they more like extractors that gently lift the hulls out ?

If this shotgun doesnt have electors that fling the hulls out then I'll probably go with a CZ Canvasback instead.

Your thoughts?

I have been very happy with mine. The ejectors do fling the hulls out but if opened gently then they won’t.
Only thing I found on mine is the barrels fire slightly off alignment from each other so I have to remember my upper is a touch to the right. I don’t like that but I did only pay $600 for an O/U so my expectations were not super high
Hey ther then that time have been really happy

Barrels out of alignment means a hard pass from me...

Also, ejectors should eject whether the gun is opened slowly or not..

Go with a cz or huglu. Tristars are junk. Im stuck with mine because its had so many issues i wont sell it to anyone. Mine is a tristar setter but everyone ive seensince on theskeet field has failed
