Hey all. I have been researching a set of Irons for my AR15 and want to ensure I a Tritium set.
From what I have read, it looks like there are a variety of options. Some people seem to simply change the front post to one with a tritum dot/slash. Others go for the complete set of which there appear to be a variety of costs levels.
I am curious as to what any of you have tried and the corresponding experiences.
Right now I am sort of leaning towards the HK style Troy set; 370 from Fabsports(not vailable yet). That said, I read a number of reviews where people suggest no back tritium is needed and merely distracts.
Trijicon makes a nice one as well from what I gather A2 aperature and front post that is way cheaper than the Troy.
My reasoning/goal is to have a solid backup iron that will be good in low light conditions(not night per sae).
Thoughts? Comments?
