Trius one step in Canada

I bought mine at Lebaron and it works great.

Does anyone know of a design that allows you to foot pull your trap at any desired yardage or angle. I am in the process of making my own release system, based on the old elliptoid farm gate openers from days gone past.

Sounds like a PITA to have to walk back everytime to #### and load the thrower. Go with the " one step" or your into a $500.00 investment for a battery operated thrower with a long extension cord.

Better still pay some kid a couple bucks to throw them for you and pick whatever angles you want.

I thought the electric ones ran twelve volt off of a car battery?

My reference to battery operated is the marine deep cycle type. We have a couple of the Atlas sporting clay throwers at the club and the battery requirement is a deep cycle marine type battery.

Just checked the Cabela's book and their " Do All " automatic trap ( $450.00 and taxes ) has the same 12 Volt deep cycle battery requirement.

The one step trap is great for dusting off the cob webs or for just the pure pleasure of burning powder and grinding clay, but being within a step of the thrower is not much of a challenge.

Bought the Trius one step from WSS in Winnipeg last spring and it works fantastic. For the average hunter it will definitely help you refine your shooting skills.
Also bought the Do-all automatic thrower, piece of crap, took it back after a few unsuccessful attempts at getting the piece of junk to work.

True enough. But for convenience and to save me that 40 minute drive to the club I've gotten a lot of use out of that Trius one-step. Strap it onto the ATV with a box of clays and a shotgun and a short run into the woods and I'm good for a couple hours entertainment.

Bought mine from Lebaron several years ago. Thrown a lot of targets off that for both the kids and myself and never a problem with it.
