Hey guys~ALMOST bought one of these today but got cold feet. I'm recovering from a back injury and using the hand throwers (which I don't normally mind) gets old pretty quick. The ground launchers from Trius are about 1/3 the price of the TrapMaster 2, but bending over to reset every time might not work for me right now. At issue~how much weight does that seat (and the arm it's attached to) hold? I'm about 6' 2", 290 lbs. Would hate to set-up a $150 toy like this, drag it out into the field, sit on it and have the seat give out on me.

I hear the Trius machines (foot operated) are excellent, and saw lots of positive comments on them when I searched this forum. Saw no reference to the TrapMaster 2.

Thanks for taking a moment to respond.

A bit more money . Check out the Do All st 200 or st 234 they're a saw horse style trap or will mount on a 2" trailer hitch receiver . Regularly use the 234 model and it is a good trap .

I have a foot operated thrower, not sure of the brand as I don't have it here in the dining room. I love it for at least two reasons: I can shoot clays by myself much easier; plus it isn't as dangerous as my first one that was cocked by hand. I am too old to be throwing clays by hand. No fun.

Edit: I was just down at my shop and checked. Mine is a TRIUS. :)
