Troy Alpha Rail Segments

I just picked up a Troy Alpha Rail and I'm looking for some 2.5" rail segments for it. Does anyone know where I can find the short segments for a reasonable price? I've looked at Rampart and the shortest rail they have is 4.2 and IRG only has the 3.2 on their US site.

Rampart has 2" ones as well, on backorder with Troy. ETA unknown.

In the interim, I'm going to see if Keymod rails can be adapted to work as they seem to have the same 20 mm hole spacing as the Troy rails.

Good to know Rampart has them on back order, i found some on amazon but i refuse to spend $50 for each one when Troy sells them directly for $15US a piece.
 
Yeah, it irritates me to pay more than I need to for simple things like that.

I am hopeful that the backers from some old Magpul MOE segments and the el cheapo key-mod rail segment I got from TNA will work out well enough until the real deal arrives. As best I can tell from the limited pics I've seen on the web the Troy segments have a ridged metal backing strip that should lock well into the Alpha rail interior and be a much better solution than what I can cobble together.

Would be great for Troy to upgrade the PAR to the MLok rail system and sell the rail separately to owners. I'd be in.
 
Just to update,

Rampart has the 2" and the 3.2" ones back in stock just ordered some. The 2" ones are $20.00 each which I think is pretty good considering they're about 15US each so factoring exchange I'm ok with paying $20 Canadian a piece and Rampart charges 10 flat rate shipping which is nice.
