They're okay. Hard plastic and stay in place well. I prefer ladder covers to that style.

Have them on one of mine...tight fit, look cool, do not move at all.

Picture is the old style. You can get the new style ones from Brownell's. These come on the Ruger SR 556.

Ive had legit ones and cheapo versions. The legit ones fit tight and dont rattle. Very sturdy. Cheapo ebay-specials are a completely different story...

I got mine at TSE, but I have not seen any there lately...but I wasn't really looking either.
