Troy DOA Buis?

The new Troy Di-optic apeture buis looks pretty interesting. It looks like they are using a similar idea to the 10-8 1911 "U" type sights for quicker target acquisition.

The question....has anyone tried the new sight out? Does it work?

The human eye works best with round apertures. That being said, iron sights will never be as fast as optics for sight acquisition.
