This part need some material removed from the inside to fit over the reciver.
The tab on the bottom of that part fits perfect. I could cut a channel for a pin to fit through.

Still need to remove material from the inside so it will fill over the reciver. Not sure the best way other than getting it milled out.

The handguard will sit higher when I'm done. The rail will be the same height as the nea upper which is the same height as the rear site.

No this is a different rifle. Ya the handguard retainer has to go with this one as well. This one definitely harder to mount than the zhukov.
