Troy folding rear sight problem?

I was in a shop today with a big list of goodies to get for my new Bushmaster. I picked up a grip, and a tac latch, and a magpul trigger guard....etc.

I really went there to get a folding rear to put behind my EO, but the only one they had, a Troy, had a strange problem....

I was looking at it, and the large peep is centered in the 'tab' but the tiny peep was drilled in the tab off to the right of center, enough to be visible...maybe 0.3mm.

Obviously this would cause a point of impact shift when switching peeps.

Anyone else seen this or is a rarity?

I didn't buy it.

They did have a bunch of LMT non-folders. Would they be OK on the back of my rail or would they get in the way?

I have a troy rear buis, and like it a lot. Not sure if troy is knocked off as far as airsoft goes, but one way to ensure it isn't a fake, is ordering parts direct.
 
Who else makes a folding rear sight?....I was reading a magazine today that was operations-based and the author stated fixed is best for holo backup, because it's right there if you have a failure, but used folders if you have to have the clearance for a scope.

Since I might need both a holo sight, and a scope....I've decided to go with a folder.

Incidently, what kind of set up would you guys recommend for service rifle competition?
