I just bought mine today a 16'' at Bulls eye at 1399$ free shipping total 1469$ wow and I asked if the Muzzlebrake ''claymore'' was pinned bcaus on the description its mentioned so I told them to plz make sure if its pinned so they did unscrew it to see and GOOD news is not pinned

I have a MP15 that is pinned down and its a nightmare to remove it thanks to Bulls eye store staff great guys

I never heard about Troy before but every parts are really expensive and good quality I'm not in love with the buttstock it looks awfull to me I will replace with a Mission first tactical MFT in black what you guys think ???

I will not go with that missionfirsttactical. Those "j hook" like stock is not confident inspiring when you need to mortar the rifle to clear stoppage with a stuck case. It also hooks on rope and webbing, especially if you have to rappel. All these holes and crannies for aesthetics differentiation in consumer marketing are useless and detrimental to function. These "design features" reflect upon what these companies have in mind when designing stuff - which is the trend in the US market now. All doing it for the "customization" look and function comes second.

The troy stock is designed that way for good reasons.....well, HK designed the stock that way for good reasons. It is designed to not interfere with rope in rappelling, and it won't back off if the user puts the support hand under the stock. The troy also has a pretty hard butt plate........
