Does anyone know how to remove the PAR foregrip. I have a second generation model with the so-called upgraded forend. I'd like to take it off for painting. I removed the allen head screws but it's not coming off. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It should just pull right off if you have all 4 screws out. Don't worry about breaking it - they are pretty strong and flexible. If you break yours getting it off, I have a spare that I could sell you at cost.
