I’m really not sure. I’m hoping so. There’s not a lot of info out there on them. Mostly the pump action. It is a good price they have on right now, do you know if it's possible to add the folding mechanism to the non folder they have on sale?
It has a spring that returns the bolt to closed. I don’t know if I’ll prefer that or not. Find out soon I guess. Definitely something different. The few videos online show people liking it all the same.Very little info to be found, for sure.
Is this a straight-pull like a Blaser, which requires the operator to manually work the bolt backwards and forwards? Or does it incorporate a spring to return the bolt to the closed position like on an MRA Renegade or Maverick?
FOC should be able to tell you, I would guess that it's just a matter of replacing the stock connection with a hinged unit but getting it from Troy may or may not be easy.... they were cool sending me some parts I needed years ago.I’m really not sure. I’m hoping so. There’s not a lot of info out there on them. Mostly the pump action.
The previoius folding PAR rifles had the same configuration and were deemed fine, it's possible someone somewhere thought otherwise due to how non nonsensical and ridiculous many/most/all of our gun laws are.The reason it doesn’t fold is to remain in the NR classification
Let us know when your cc becomes corrupted.Good day,
I just ordered a Troy side action straight pull rifle from FOC. Pretty sweet sale on. Just curious on feedback from owners out there? How they shoot, popular upgrades, quality, etc?
I just put on one of the folding stocks from another rifle. Does anyone know of any after market parts. The previoius folding PAR rifles had the same configuration and were deemed fine, it's possible someone somewhere thought otherwise due to how non nonsensical and ridiculous many/most/all of our gun laws are.
It depends on the model, most of the Troy's have buffer tube style stocks but the one on sale looks to be based on their own proprietary folding hinge.I just put on one of the folding stocks from another rifle. Does anyone know of any after market parts.
