I've been waiting a long time to get my hands on one of these stocks. Taccessories posted a thread saying that they had these ready to ship and I ran for my wallet. I place my order around 1:00 pm and by 3:00 pm I received an email from Canada Post with tracking information. Taccessories didn't waste any time getting my parcel out the door! It showed up in 2 days. I was so excited!! Thank you so much for the quick and easy "Take My Money!' process. I'll be doing business with you again.
When I picked up the box it felt like it was almost empty. This aluminum stock weighs practically nothing. They are expensive as compared to the plastic stock options out there for the 10/22, but wort every penny to me. The fit in finish is 99.99% fantastic. I absolutely love it. I have the old school bull barrel 10/22 and had no issues with the size of the barrel fitting properly. I say 99.99% because the mags fit a little tight in the mag well. I did know about this prior to buying to stock from previous research. It took me a couple of seconds with the dremel and the mags drop free.
I love the flip up sights and I plan to mount my Vortex Sparc on it. It doesn't come with rail section, but thankfully I have a spare rail from when I bought my 15" Troy Alpha rail. Now all I need are a set of Squid grips and I'm set. I also love the fact that I have very similar setups with my primary load-out: Colt AR15 flat top Troy Alpha rail, 1911 .45 ACP and secondary: .22lr Troy 10/22 Sport and my GSG 1911.
This is the review that got me all excited. He describes the very small amount of material that needs to be removed near the bottom:
