I've spent the last hour trying to find somewhere to get some

I'm looking for the kit and I can't find it on Canada...

And it can't be shipped(thru normal channels) out of the US becuase it's considered hazardous goods.... I'm not about to pay $40 in shipping for a $15 bottle...

Any Idea where I can get a couple of the kits..

Check Wal-Mart. No kidding. I saw about ten cans of the aerosol stuff on the shelf yesterday.

Seriously....check out just about any hunting store or hunting section of a department store. Walmart often carries this kind of stuff.

Actually, walmart carries a lot of general hunting that people don't realise. They have silica gel beads, Browning and Remington brand accessories and clothing. Tru Oil, Hoppes stuff...

Tru Oil

I bought mine from Wholesale Sports. Forget about the aerosol can's, they are useless as they are full strength oil.
I used the Brichwood casey filler first. This fills the grain and adds some darkness to the wood. Then I used the BC walnut stain, diluted with water, you can always go darker but not lighter again so start light.
Then I applied about 10 coats of oil mixed 50/50 with mineral spirits. These light coats soak deaply into the wood. I let these dry for 24 hrs, and then rub down with 0000 steel wool. Then I used about 5 coats of 75/25 of oil to mineral spirits. Rubbing it into the wood by hand. After the 24 hrs rub down with steel wool except the last coat. when your done you have a fantastic oil finish. Here is a picture of my Cooey Mohawk 75.
