The gray 3M pads are very fine, green is too coarse, the white has no grit to it like the gray, and red does.
I use gray or 0000 steel wool depending on what I am doing.
its the driers that are added that are toxic, pure tung oil has none, but a lot of Tung oil , ie Minwax is not pure, thou it works nice.
