This rifle has been in the family for 50+ years. It's in 220 swift. I'm attempting to determine the Model Number and whether or not it is large or small shank. I was thinking about re-barreling it to 9.3 x 62. I believe the stock has been modified but am not sure. I wouldn't rebarrel that, I'd restock it with an original factory stock.

That would be a cool and rather rare chambering worthy of preservation.

PM Baribal on the Husqvarna thread in the sticky's above. He will be able to tell you what you have there!

Large ring action (no doubt FN, very early 1950s) in an aftermarket stock. Not a common cartridge for a husqvarna. Safety looks to be aftermarket as well.

Well, what you have there is a "1950" "High Power" rifle likely imported by Tradewinds or here in Canada by the Dorken Bros.
This particular caliber is much more desirable than a 9.3X62....
The model was 640 and relies on a "commercial" 1898 FN Mauser.
The stock was heavily modified and the sights removed.

You can check this thread (and I usually answers faster and more easily when it's posted there) to gather more information.

Thanks for the info. Given that it's somewhat rare, I will leave it alone and pursue other options for a 9.3 x 62. Thanks again.
