As the title says, does anyone know where in Canada I can find a 1911 Bushing style compensator for my Norc police model? I have been to every website that I can find in Canada and no one seems to carry one at all. I tried to purchase one from Brownells but they denied that part on the order. Any help would be appreciated. I'm not looking to replace the entire barrel yet with an on built on barrel compensator. It's very frustrating.

I've retyped this a few times now, but there really isn't a gentle way to say it.
I'm sure there is a less useful product on the market, but in 26 years in the sport, I've yet to find one.
They don't really compensate, and they tend to be looser than the bushing they are replacing, screwing with your accuracy.

What Canuck says. They will do nothing for you except make you look a little worse in the eyes of anyone at the range who knows pistols. If it's your thing, go for it, but it won't help you, it's just appearance, and you give up performance to get it.
