Trying to find out what 2nd or 3rd smith and Wesson gun this slide belongs too!

Here are some pics of it the slide, it’s exactly 6 inches long. It’s not to a 5906 it’s too small.

With that sight combination, I would hazard a guess and say it's a 469 slide. Most 2nd and 3rd gen guns I can find either have a bigger ramped front sight or a dovetail front sight, The 469 had the more compact rear sight and the smaller front sight.

The 469 had a 3.5 inch barrel, what is the approximate measure from breech face to muzzle?

Definately second gen, possibly a late second gen - as noted a 469. It definitely is not a gen 3 slide.
