Trying to identify a rifle

Hi there,

Was browsing some links and I found this picture.

I believe its of russian origin and uses 54R ammo. But I don't recongnize anything else. Any experts here who can shed some light ?

Yep. AI action (easily recognizable bolt knob) on a custom AICS type stock, and a fugly one at that!

It's not an actual Accuracy International rifle but a Russian copy of it. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery kind of thing. The "accuracy internationalsky" was along the same lines of the Russian super sonic jet "concordsky"

This is completely off topic but the Tu-144 actually flew before the concord and the crash it had at the pairis airshow was because the pilot was dodging a french mirage that was sent up to photograph it.
