Trying to put a new butt on an Alcor

Hi all. I'm trying to replace the wood stock on my Alcor. Been digging around, and it looks like I can go in two directions:

1. Remington 870 style replacement
2. AR-15 style replacement.

It looks like either will work, but once I start down one road or the other, it's sunk costs if I decide I made the wrong decision. Therefore, I am seeking advice, not only from anyone who may have done this, but also from people who have experience with both styles of stock (which I do not).

So, the 870 adapters are:

https://www.reliablegun.com/alcor-accessories-alcor-870-adpt
https://truenortharms.com/3d-printed-adapter-plate-for-alcor-to-remington-870-stock/

These seem like they'll allow a bolt-on of any 870 product. I am having a little trouble finding a pistol-grip-style setup, although I did find this:

The AR-15 adapters are:

https://tommyenterprises.com/product/buffer-tube-and-ar-grip-adapter-for-akdas-alcor/

And I imagine once I go AR-15, there will be lots of stock options.

There's also this:

So right now I have analysis paralysis. Any help?

it's a thing many are weighing and no one wants to talk about

most are worried the gun will be banned and discussions like these will only speed that along

I hope you arrive at a build you're happy with. You can look to Australia for ideas too as they are stuck with a similar legal landscape

best of luck!
