Hi: I am going to load the said bullet in my 416 Rigby. I am only using the one hunting gun so I do not need the Barnes manual for one caliber i hope. anyone out there have load data for the 350gr barnes TSX in 416 Rigby. Help will be appreciated. Regards Dan

Try about 101 grains of RL22 with the 350 TSX. This is the maximum from the Alliant manual. I shoot 100 grains with the 350 Speer Mag Tip for a practice load, and also loaded the 350 TSX on the same charge to keep them shooting together. Groups tend to be at or under 1", with the occasional cloverleaf. Since I only have a 2.5x scope with the Leupold Heavy Duplex I can't complain much.
It takes careful target selection to pull that trick off. The load chronographs 2450 in my rifle, with a really boring claimed pressure of 40,000 CUP. This data is taken directly from Alliant and is specifically for the 350 X bullet.
My chosen hunting load is the 400 grain TSX and 400 grain banded solid and 96 grains of the same powder. They shoot together, as does the 400 grain A-frame with the same charge. I can barely tell the difference in recoil between the 350 and 400 grain loads but there is a bit.
