TSX Data for .270Win.

I had work up a load for my .300 Win. with the #3 Barnes data book and came up with a very good load.But this time I have to find a good hunting load for a friend's .270Win,and I don't have time to work a load and don't have the #4 manual.I will use the 140grs TSX and the powders that I could use are RL22,IMR4350,IMR4831.Can anyone help me.

Bad idea, just picking a load. If you can't work up one, tell him to buy factory ammo.

140 tsx/270 Win

IMR4350 - 51.0 grs start (2833 fps) 54.5 grs MAX (3028 fps)

IMR 4831 - 53.0 grs start (2863 fps) 56.5 ges MAX (3050 fps)

they dont show RL22 but Id bet the max would be about 58 grains


if I was just going to throw a load together and hope it shoots ok and is safe pressures I would load 54.0 grs IMR 4831. Buying factory ammo is probably the better bet!
