I happen to have some really nice wood grips for the tt-33 (hammer and sickle engraved) for a tok that I don't even have.. yet.

Because of the nice grips I actually want to put them on a good quality tt.

If the collectible years are also the better (more reliable/nicer finish) years, then that's perfect, but if not I would rather go for the latter.

Anyone on here got any history to teach me on the tt-33s and the different years?

Whats the best place to buy from? (I don't mind spending an extra few bucks for quality)
