I just bought a 1936 TT-33 and slide to frame fit is looser than a Las Vegas working girl. Its not so bad in the back but near the front of the gun theres a ####load of movement between the slide and frame.

Thanks in advance for any replies

Its a mid 30s design, most models were made during the war or slightly after...and they cost $200 all in, cannot expect much!!!

With GOOD ammo, they are minute of man at all ranges, even 100 yards :)

Thanks for the reply, im a huge gun nut and a huge history nerd so i know the history behind them and all that but i just wasnt expecting so much slack. Mines a 1936 so i expected slightly higher level of pre-war quality goodness.

I have a 1944 TT33 and a more modern M57 TT33 (2013 manufacture) with a tighter frame fit and guide rod . the 1944 shoots slightly better !
