TT-33 Magazines

I have a 1944 Tokarev TT-33 with the two magazines it came with and two I ordered later. The two that came with the pistol seem to be jamming a lot. During shooting they feed well but when empty they don't hold the slide back and they won't eject. The only way to get them out is to hold the slide back manually, depress the follower with something (not my finger!) and then hit the release. The slide lock releases if I depress the follower. I have disassembled both magazines but them seem correct and are the same as the other two. Any ideas?

Ahh, but I actually like the gun. It's not about beauty, it's about shooting history. So if I can have four working magazines I want that. If I can only have two working magazines, oh well.
