I know that it's just a 180 dollar pistol but I'm curious none the less.
I bought a tt33 and only fired S&B and it worked perfectly I fired some surplus ammo and found the casings were splitting after being ejected. Also the rims were being ripped off from the extractor leaving the hull in the chamber. After ceasing to use these rounds an switching back to S&B the gun rarley fires 2 rounds before it fails to extract. I've removed the extractor. It seems fine, I cleaned it and replaced it same problem. Possible weak recoils spring or something else?

Mine is also getting stuck in the chamber occasionally. The slide is slightly open and the casing shows. When I drop the magazine to clear it, the slide closed and I have to take it apart to remove the stuck case. The extractor is very strong and I have cleaned the chamber with acetone and polished it with jewelers rouge with a Dremel. All I can guess is a weak recoil spring, but it is an unissued Polish that does not have many rounds on it.

Hey
I have a thread on this..but..
may or may not be the cause..mine doesn't like the coated surplus ammo....after it warms up the casing would get stuck and I would half to smack the slide to complete it to battery...once I changed to copper washed problem solved...try different ammo and see if it gets better or not..hope this helps
Glenn.

I sure hope it isn't a coated ammo problem. That's what it was designed to use after all. I've got a 2520 round unopened case or Russian! Maybe I should try some of that as I'm just finishing off the last of the Czech.
