Wow...I have had two of these sitting in the safe for a long time and I haven't done anything with them. Well, I bought a crate of ammo and decided to have fun with one.

They are sure a simple pistol, but they are quite a bit of fun to shoot and even with a lighlty frosted barrel, pretty darn accurate.

I love my TT33.
Before I bought one, everyone I asked about them said they were junk, good for executing prisoners at point blank range in the Kremlin basement et al.
I bought one anyway. They are very accurate and reliable guns in the right hands.
The 7.62x25 Tokarev is no slouch when it comes to punch and balistics either.
It's probably my favorite handgun of all the ones I've fired.
I actually like the almost perpendicular grip, I can acquire a good site picture very easily and fast with the angle of hold.

The TT-33 sure is a good bang for the buck, my '52 always puts a smile on my face. I find its like all the Soviet weaponry, rugged, reliable, and easy to take apart and maintain. How can ya go wrong.:D :D
