I was visiting a pal a few days ago and he showed me a TTSX bullet he plucked from a moose his son shot. It was a 7mm 140 gr and when I was looking at it I noticed it had a X stamped on the base. I thought this was curious, so I checked out a box of .308/130 TTSXs I have on my bench and sure enough those have the X stamp as well. I continued to check my stock and found that my .308/180 TSX, .375/300 TSX, and my .375/300 banded solids are unblemished. When I was in Africa, the solids for the .375 were stamped on the flat nose, but to put a stamp on the balance critical base of a bullet doesn't sit well with me. Interested to know what you guys think about stamping advertising on the base of a bullet . . . an expensive bullet!

I haven't tried them, but I may have to. I got them for my young nephew's '06, and load the 130s at 2600 for his low recoil deer bullet. Even if they do shoot, and they probably do, I think its a bad idea.
