Howdy,
So I just received my cooey 60 in the mail yesterday: It has no stock (it's for a project so that's perfect). I hold it, gripping firmly both the barrel and the tube mag and try to cycle the bolt and it wouldn't move. That's it!! I got a lemon, I think to myself. I then realized that the tube actually moves when you cycle the bolt. I'm guessing this is normal, right?

Does anyone know off hand what the mag capacity for the model 60 is?

Finally, how do you take it apart to clean it?

Cheers,

I loaded only 12 LR into the mag. Does not put as much pressure on the mag spring. to disassemble, you loosen the stud that holds the stock on, Should be about 6" in front of the action and holding the tube. Thus the tube can slide rearward to allow the bolt to be removed by holding the trigger back. Hope this helps.Sometimes taking a picture as it is originally can help with reassembly. Do not attempt to disassemble the bolt...special tools are needed as the firing pin is under spring pressure.

It is normal that the tube moves with the bolt.

Hi Toymaker,
When you say "do not attempt to disassemble the bolt" do you mean I shouldn't remove the bolt completely? I want to remove it to give it a good cleaning and to paint it as well.
