Has anyone had Dlask do the TUF-22 magwall conversion on their 10/22? How did the mags run after?

I'm thinking of having my 10/22 modified and I was hoping someone has some first hand experience.

I bought a factory TUF 22, do I can't comment on dlask's work on a factory 10/22. But the conversion of the receiver is inedibly easy. A mill would be the best tool for it, but a die grinder or dremel would work fine. The slot machined in the receiver is more or less just to let the mag fit and limit side to side play, it doesn't do much more. I can send you a copy of the paper I got with mine. It shows exactly what dimensions to make the slot to.

I had mine done up by Dlaskarms, the only issue is that one of my TUF-22 magazine can be over-inserted blocking the bolt. I feel like it's a magazine fitment problem as my other TUF-22 magazine doesn't do that.

My remedy is that when I reload I fully insert than tug the magazine down, which does the double duty of making sure it's in and locked and not over-inserted.

I had my 10/22 done by Dlask so I could run the mags. The machining was good and the mags fit just fine, the only problem is the mags I have do not run reliably. I’ve yet to shoot a full mag without a problem and kinda gave up on them.

The BX mags and butler creek still work just fine with the receiver mod.

Realizing that you asked about the dlask mod; I'm going to suggest looking into the spectre ballistics adapter.
It takes Rem. 597 mags. Mine run flawlessly.

I tried the Spectre mag block last week. Two mags, four 10/22’s. They only ran in one of the rifles. Jam o matics in 3 rifles.

Are you saying the Tuf-22 mags are giving you issues? Or regular Ruger mags?

My Takedown receiver has been modified by Dlask.

Runs both factory rotary mags and Tuff mags just fine.
I also have the Kidd plunger and spring kit.
I think the extra pressure provided by the Kidd spring and plunger does help maintaining the right position of the mag for proper cycling/feeding.

That been said, the H3CR (Tuff ) works well but I prefer the factory rotary mags.

I should try the Spectre adapter and 597 mags to see what I prefer.
