TulAmmo?

Dirty, not very accurate, but fun for plinking. Usually 55gr or 62gr, HP or FMJ. Bimetal with steel case, which a lot of ranges don't allow.

Some guys have reported some really stellar groups with it, under 1 MoA and some reports closer to 1/2 MoA. Those seem to be the outliers though as, for the most part, what Zen Seeker said is the more common experience. I tried some in .223 and .308 and was getting 4-6" groups at 100yds. Same rifles easily shoot sub-MoA with handloads. Perhaps these loads just don't agree with the specific rifles I tried them in (both bolt rifles).

I've never used any in a semi but I did read some reports of certain .223 or 5.56 loadings not working reliably in AR-15 gas systems. Those were from the US though and I don't know if they get the same kinds of loads as us.
The gist of it was the powder is too fast and the pressure drops too far before the gas port or something like that. I don't know anyone who's used them in a Norinco AR-15 or a T97.

I'd never buy 1000rnds of anything without trying some first. I'd order 60-100rnds, give them a function and accuracy test in your rifle, and then decide.

Personally for cheap steel case ammo, I want either zinc plated or copper washed. Lacquered or poly coated just build up in the chambers and gum #### up....

I Bought a case of the 55 grain hollow point. It functions fine and in my AR I am getting groups of about 2 MOA. One of my friends advised me that the 55 grain was more accurate then the 62 grain.
