Do you guys tumble your brass before you resize? Sorry for the dumb question, but I finally got a tumbler today! :dancingbanana:

Tunble first then size, no corn media stuck in hole.DAN>>>:p :)

LOL, very true! Now I am thinking about doing it that way! I guess it would keep the sizing dies cleaner too. But then I have to scrape the primer pockets.

I'm so confused... Oh what to do, what to do? :runaway:

I got it, Tumble then Resize then Tumble again. There, that's better, but it is more time and effort. I just may use that as a trick to miss out on the chores around the house, haha.:dancingbanana:

Actually, it would be interesting to learn what the majority do.

The amount of cleaning that will take place in the primer pockets is neglidgible. The danger of damage to your resizing die should you happen to have some crude on your "pre-tumbling" brass, is not.

IMHO.

Tumble then resize.

Same reasons as joe-nwt.

You could buy a decapping die then tumble, but then you have the problem of media lodged in the flash hole, just as DD1 said.
