Tumbling bullets to clean them?

I recently bought a box of hornady 140 grain SST's to try out in my 270WSM but when I opened the box to look at them they were extremely tarnished ! There is no corrosion on them but they just look like #### ! I was just curious to see if anyone has ever tumbled bullets ? I have a moly coating kit and it has a different kinda media in it for tumbling bullets after they are moly coated . Do you think that is what I should use or should I try the normal tumbling media? Anyone have any experiance?

I've purchased Hornady bulk 45's and found them to be dirty looking. I tumbled em and now they're bright and shiny . I'm using a Thumblers rotary tumbler and ceramic media.

You can use regular media, clean/new works best, I use it sometimes to clean cast bullets.
