Hey, i was wondering whats the most popular place to buy media from?
I am from Ottawa region, and often have a hard time to find some locally (corncob and crushed walnuts)
Do most of you guys order it off the web or do you browse your local gunshops?
If off the web, i cant imagine the shipping of 30# of media will be cheap.

Princess auto used to have 50lb bags of walnut for $29.00 not sure if the still carry it, 50lb last a long time.

Go to LeBaron's in Nepean, if they don't have it in stock they will bring it in for you and save you the shipping..

I bought from an abrasive supply company in montreal 40 pounds for like 40$
I mostly use ss though, sometimes corncob to remove case lube but not often.

You'll have to invest in a SS tumbler ... no more worry's..;)

I'll have to look into this someday, right now i just invested in a 650XL with casefeeder and bullet feeder, dont feel like spending!

LeBarons in nepean, doesnt have any media, i used to buy lots there.
Its been B.O. For a while now.

Lizard pen walnut/ princesss auto walnut, is there anything in particular i should look for? As in can be too fine or to coarse?

Ok cool, I need new snails for my aquarium so i'll go buy some lizard media at the same time, thanks!
I never ran untreated media, you guys use the real stuff or is there any Canadian tire substitute for that?

Princess Auto in Ottawa shows crushed walnut media on their website. Likely in-store as well. Price is $39.99 per 50lb bag.

Even without the lead factor, i love shiny brass, SS tumbling is way shinnier than i thought.
I do solder lead with my job every now and then, limiting my possible lead exposures is not a bad idea.

I wonder how us old guys survived driving cars with lead in the gas. ;) (never mind siphoning gas with a hose)

Personally shinny is overrated, but to each their own.
