I hope to take my Black Badge course in a month or so. For starters I will probably shoot my Norinco CZ85B in 40 S&W. I have just got this pistol. In fact, today was the first time I shot it. Shot a round 3” group at 20 yards, so seems quite accurate. With load development, may even do a bit better.

I am wondering about tune up items. First, I assume I won’t ever need the double action feature. Is there any reason or advantage to removing the DA parts?

The single action trigger is smooth, but has a bit of creep. In this design pistol, can the creep be removed for a crisp release, as a 1911 can be?
For action shooting, what trigger weight is required or desirable? Give a choice, I like something in the 3 to 4 pound range for bullseye shooting.

I would like to install an adjustable rear sight. Given my 65 year old eyes, I prefer a notch that has been opened slightly. What kind of rear and front sight is practical for action shootng?
