We got up at 4:45 Am this morning and headed to our spot There were 5 deer there when we got there and as I went to set up my decoys a skunk was waddling around. I had a sand crane come in and eat right in front of me it was great and all the time the Toms were gobbling and strutting around there were 6 toms and three hens at about 9am my son pulled the trigger on this Tom it weighed in at 20.89LBS and had a beard of 8 inches and 3/4 inch spurs I can't wait to get out again this afternoon.

Sweet man , collect those wonderful flight feathers, their great for cedar arrows. Should have 5 to 7 good ones a side

mommabear & futurehunter just showed up where a course was going on and enrolled there. and i stayed with them as well so lots of room at each course you just pay a little more at the door

Congratulations on a great hunt! I think it's great that you took your son and let him pull the trigger. There's no better time spent together than time spent hunting.
