TURKEY is Coming!

although about a two dozen birds were seen in a field across the hiway from our camp a year ago....
none others have been spotted since..seem like they all flocked off:(

I've been seeing lots of birds!! I'm just itchin to go fetch myself a turkey dinner!!

I was reading Ontario Out of Doors and there was an article stating how they are slated to open a fall season in 2008!

I wonder if we'll be able to get more tags?

Reading the revenues from this hunt....it's incredible...raking in the bucks.

Apparently however, since they switched from half days to full days, the number of birds taken per season hasn't increased all that much.

I never saw a turkey in the woods in my life untill last deer hunting season I saw a whole line of something moving across a field. I scoped in on them and realized there was at least a dozen turkey walking single file. Looks like turkeys are on the move in Que :dancingbanana: Correct me if I am wrong, but from what I have heard though, I have to win a turkey lottery of sorts to be able to hunt one. Am going to have to look into that.

hundred means they are still flocked up and not mating yet.

Scared a few up whne I was in the bush a few weeks ago

I sure hope the weather warms up. If not it will be awfully hard to get any birds to move.
