Turkey noob questions for Ontarians

I was wondering if you can get your turkey tag right away after the course. Through procrastinations, my and my friend had missed the boat for the pre-season course.

We would like to dabble in the large un-molested flocks on his property this year if possible.

After you have passed your turkey seminar you can purchase your 2 tags.You must have your certificate with you and you must have your small game licence.The next time you get your new hunting card you wont have to bring your certifcate.You can get your tags also buy calling the mnr.Correct me people if I am wrong.

That's how it was for me last year. Drove straight to the store after the course finished to grab the tags, small game and turkey certificate and you're good to go.

already got the small game for rabbits this year. Can't wait till turkey!!
