Once upon a time in Ontario there was this great honking (sorry wrong bird) book for this great (honking, sorry) course to get a turkey permit. It appears this has gone the way of the dodo bird and not replaced as a component of the regular hunter education course.
Calling a canard a canard, Quebec now has a great honking course of its own complete with above described book. Thanks are showered upon sources in Ontario for help with this tome. I suspect the text was translated en francais.
This brings me the reason for this post. The text for the Quebec course is offered en francais only and I know a turkey when see one.
Anyone out there know where this item, in English, may be downloaded, gratis, online?

If you know a turkey when you see one, what do you need the book for?

Have you thought about taking the free online french version http://www.fedecp.com/media/2146/epreuve-dindon-sauvage-30-01-2014-2.pdf
and running it through the google translate?

If there is a course you need to take, and a test you need to pass, is the test available in english?

Jeepers, that book is 243 pages. Thats probably the sum total of human knowledge regarding wild turkey.
