It looks like it will be a very good year around my area, watched a group of thirty go to roost last three nights in a row in a field I have permission on and on my own land I have two large groups of about twenty each (properties are about ten mins apart). It seems there are more and more turkeys each year ... should be a good season once again! Good luck to all!

Well these guys were holding protest, blocking the road and acting mighty rowdy!

My wife said she thinks the Toms allowed the hens to cross first (about 20 on the field to the right)

Season or not, doesnt look like there are many birds in BC

Side note, pulled a 13 lb 2 year old this morning.... 7" beard, 1" spur. mmmm
