A friend and fellow gun nut in South America asked my dad about a short-barreled, semi-auto shotgun (im assuming 12-gauge) that he'd found in a sporting goods store for $1500 USD (he hasn't bought it-yet). The only name he gave was Zephyr, he was told it was made in Turkey, and said it had a 9-round mag capacity. Does anyone know who makes this gun, is it Baikal-grade or Beretta-grade or what? A quick google revealed nothing relevant. Any info at all is appreciated.

Obviously not worth $1500 if you can not even find any info on it. Even stoeger Auto loaders are not even over $800 or Baikal and they are probably the best 2 brands coming out of turkey.

Here it wouldn't be worth that. But down there the gun and ammo prices are through the roof. Berettas and benellis are selling for twice what we can get them for at wholesale sports, for example.
