Turkish Shotgun options?

In the market for a short barrelled pump shotgun.

Have been looking mostly at 870's and the Norinco clones.

• Full on Dask 870 shorty
• Dominion Arms Grizzly (or like)
• Installing a 12-1/2" barrel (DA or Dlask) on a new (or used) 870

But when going though the sites of various board sponsors I found a couple of Turkish made options.

The Scorpio PA01
and
The Armed Gladiator

Trouble is, I find very little info about these guns. Would love to hear from any who own either of these options.

My Google searches find a bit of info from CGN but even that is a bit sparse.

Weatherby shotguns are "mostly" made in Turkey.

Now while that is no guarantee that other Turkish built arms are any good, at least one mfg there is good enough for Wby to stick their name on them.

Get the Hatsan Escort/Optima! Excellent value and quality. Lots of good reviews.

If you go look on the Khan arms, Armsan or ATA (which i'm led to believe is a merger between khan and armsan) web pages, you can compare the picture of what you are looking for vs their shotguns, and usually any of the turkish house brands are a version of one of their shotguns, but renamed, maybe a little different colour or forened.
For instance the weatherby semi autos, or corwins Warrior brand seem to be a modified CY series from ATA.

Winchester SXP. Made in Turkey. Very smooth action. Cycles round very fast.

CZ are made in Turkey. Good shotguns for the money. Maybe the 612 would be an option for you.

I just got an ata pump and squeezed off some rounds. So far so good. Really good build quality for $250.

Took the assist spring out as I don't like that feature.

Looks like there are a few more options that I need to consider.

Also looks like I would be best served if I actually inspected some of these models for myself before disregarding them as junk.

Bullseyelondon have some Mossberg 590a1 police 12 gauge with factory 14" barrels. Something about a US export mistake. Still have a few left. $599 free shipping.

Can't go wrong for $280. Only downside is not as many accessories.

I would vear away from the Scorpio. Not very impressed with the one I HAD

I also say check out Hatsan. I've got three.
A 20" Aimgaurd, a 18.5" Marineguard that I put a top folding stock on, and a 14" Escort that I put a pistol grip/collapsible stock on.
All excellent shotguns.

Yes ATI Talon. I've since removed the shell holder.
