Turkish single shot trigger guard

The flimsy trigger guard , action latch on my little shot gun decided to break. Any suggestions for where to get a replacement ? Looks like this.

Any store that sells the Turk brands (lazer, etc.) Should be able to get one through their distributor. They're still making those models

I'm working on that, the original is a piece of crap, I don't even know how it broke. Very flimsy die cast.

Apparently the Lazer importer went out of business, so here's the new improved version. Some aluminum stock from the local machine shop and a lot of filing and grinding. thank goodness the bolt that holds it in is a standard M5x.8

Great Freakin work!! Always a good feeling to make something better. You would be surprised how many manufacturers utilize pot metal parts!

One of the Gun Kinks solutions for this type of problem was to heat and reform barrel bands from military surplus rifles. Some judicious bending, cutting and drilling a hole where required usually resulted in an acceptable replacement.

Good work on the aluminum replacement!
