I just got a turknelli revolution armory r4. Since I used to have a versa max, I had the original shell lifter laying in a drawer. Took it out and discovered that the remington lifter is about half inch longer. Right at where the lifter for the turknelli ends, the remington one starts to fork out. So I decided to grind down the remington one. Haven't installed it yet but here are the pics.

The stock remington versamax lifter.

Here it is grinded down to match the length of the turknelli

I held it up sided by side and the length from the pivot point to the tip is now roughly the same.

no thumb bite. hopefully I don't want to spend $100+ on a taran tactical one on a turknelli. So I decided to cut up an old remington one I had laying around

I just purchase the same model just this past week. Should have it by perhaps Tuesday. Are you happy with it? What other issues have you had with it if any? Some say they are junk and others say they are ok. I hope I have some good luck with it.

Well I guess it won't really matter now. With the liberal governments announcement of yet more gun legislation including the Benelli M4 we won't be able to use them soon anyway.

Took this and a real benelli m4 out to the range last night. Put 75 rounds of 2 3/4 magnum buck shot through both guns. The turknelli lost the o ring for the firing pin retainer, and rear sight windage adjustment is completely stripped out . The real benelli is still good with no faults

And there lies the truth, these turkish guns are complete crap. Go big and get a real m4 or get something decent like a 590a1 or 870
