Turning down a SL8 barrel

Anyone had their Sl8 barrel turned down? And roughly how much did it cost to do so? I am just trying to determine if it’s worth buying a sl8 for my next fun black rifle but I don’t want to carry an 9 pound front heavy pig around. Any suggestions or info is welcome.

Probably best off getting a lighter contoured barrel spun up for the SL8. Get the factory one threaded for a muzzle device and then you can swap back and forth between a light contour and the factory barrel.
